The Future Form of Design
is a research degree sponsored by London College of Fashion/ Victoria & Albert Scholarship.
How will sustainable, grown, natural materials impact on the way we approach footwear design form and constructions? As we move to more sustainable bio materials and grown processes, how will good 21st century manufactured design forms be determined? The aims of the research is to advance future manufactured design forms and to exploit design form possibilities of manufactured grown bio materials. The research will be informed by the V&A archives and underpinned by practice based research.
